British Events -Victoria Day weekend

I wanted to alert some of you about some events the Victoria Day long weekend in Victoria.
On Saturday and Sunday there is the annual Victoria Highland Games at Topaz park in Victoria. Also on the same days are a British military encampment at Fort Rodd Hill national historic site just outside of downtown Victoria. Also on the holiday Monday the 19th is the annual Victoria Day parade which goes down Douglas street and starts around 9am.( Usually Victoria herself makes an appearance from the dead  . The Island is a great place to be on the long weekend and people book way in advance so if anyone feels like going book hotels asap and the ferries too!
