Hi everyone! This meetup group is for British Citizens (and their partners/family) who are living in New York City or surrounding areas, here for business or personal reasons. If you have just arrived, we do our best to help you get acclimatized through meeting others who have 'been there, done that!' If you have been here a while and have only just found us, welcome! We have lots of members who are settled in to New York life and continue to enjoy the social interaction of this group aswell as making lots of new friends. Aids Walk New York - Join our Brit Expat team & raise some money
Hi all,
One of our members - Ellie, suggested this would be a great way to contribute and be a fun day out for us. I agree, so we are going to form a team to walk to raise money for Aids. Our team is called the Big Apple Brits and the plan is to meet at 9am (walk starts at 10am). YES we know its early, BUT the walk is about 2-3 hours and then we plan to reward ourselves with a much deserved brunch with drinks afterwards! Read more
