The Toronto Expat Brit Meetup Group
|
A monthly get together of fellow Brits from the length and breadth of the UK. Young(e) and old ! The Toronto Expat Brit Meetup Group is purely a social meetup of individuals. Ranging from Brits who are 'New to TO' all the way through to the offspring of Brit parents. Anglophiles look elsewhere (sorry !). Each event tends to be on one month intervals, and we try to change the location to a different downtown pub/bar for a change in scenery. Each event is generally a 50/50 split of first timers along with regular attendees dropping in now and then. Usual topics of conversation are the usual cliché food/drink/t.v./sens e of humour difference's. Over the years long lasting friendships have been forged. If you intend to join just to advertise/post a service - Asking permission can go a long way ! Thanks for taking the time to read,
